Rob Scott teaches undergraduate courses at a prison in Illinois. He is Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership at the University of Illinois, and he teaches Horticulture for the Danville Area Community College. During graduate school, Rob was part of the group that developed the new college-in-prison program of the University of Illinois, the Education Justice Project. Before that he directed the School for Designing a Society, which was the topic of his recent dissertation. During 2000-2006, Rob founded and ran a non-profit for Permaculture in Illinois, and received a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science. He and his students maintain a one-acre biointensive garden at a correctional center in Illinois.
